I am a hot, humid day.
I am a smiling face at the Zulu parade.

I am the true epitome of love, loyality and family.
No Relocation, No Pain , No HURRICANE can steal the city from inside of me.

I am red beans and rice on Monday
I am Mardi Gras on Fat Tuesday.

I stand in place where our dead sleep.
And at the second line I am the last to weep.

I am that Candy Lady with Cold cups for 25 cents.
I represent that church built over 200 yrs ago, that place i go to worship, that place i go to repent.

I am the Essence in July, I am one of the many faces at the Classic and Jammin at the Jazz fest is one of the Best!

Everyday I live this,
I breathe this,
I walk, I talk this
Baby I love this !
